What to Expect at Pushing Up Daisies 2026

Thank you for supporting the 5th Annual Pushing Up Daisies Garden Tour & Sylvester Cemetery Concert — happening May 9, 2026, from 11am–6pm! Get ready for a full day of blooms, beats, and community magic in the heart of East Atlanta. 

Your Day at a Glance

  • Garden Tours: 11am- 3pm

  • Chalk Art Begins: 11am

  • Cemetery Tours: 12pm, 1pm, 2pm

  • Artist Market, Food Trucks & Drinks: 2pm- 6pm

  • Live Music: 3pm- 6pm

  • People’s Choice Awards: 4:45pm

  • Raffle ongoing: 2pm-6pm

  • Argosy Afterparty: 6pm-?

Check-In & Wristbands

Your wristband is your all‑access pass for the entire event. There are TWO check-in locations:

  • 11am–3pm: Welcome Table at 561 Flat Shoals Ave (next to Garden #1)

  • 11am–6pm: Welcome Table at 2073 Braeburn Cir SE (Cemetery entrance)

  • Every ticket includes a complimentary EACA Buck, good toward a beverage at the festival.

  • If you purchased the Mother’s Day Package, you’ll also receive a special Mother’s Day voucher at check‑in.

Cashless Event

  • The festival is cashless for all purchases, with the exception of tipping bartenders, who will happily accept cash tips.

Pick up your wristband, tour brochure, and People’s Choice ballot. Volunteers will be on hand to help with day-of ticket purchases.

Garden Tour Route and Map

Explore six unique, inspiring gardens along the Flat Shoals/Bouldercrest corridor:

  1. A Sip of Paradise – 572 Stokeswood Ave SE

  2. Dooryard Garden – 779 Flat Shoals Ave SE

  3. Flat Shoals Farm – 749 Flat Shoals Ave SE

  4. Secret Garden House – 795 Flat Shoals Ave SE

  5. Crested Boulder Arboretum – 911 Bouldercrest Dr SE

  6. Nature Conservancy – 1088 Bouldercrest Dr SE

After Garden #6, follow the fun straight to Sylvester Cemetery for the concert, vendors, food trucks, and raffle excitement. Don’t forget to drop your ballot in the box when you arrive!

Live Music & Festival Fun at Sylvester Cemetery

After you finish exploring the gardens, the celebration continues at Sylvester Cemetery with an afternoon festival full of music, makers, and community energy. Starting at 3:00 PM, enjoy live performances by:

  • Big Sinclair: 3pm

  • The Frogs of Calabash: 4pm

  • KJ and The Funk Maysons: 5pm

Bring a blanket or chair, grab a shady spot, and settle in for an unforgettable neighborhood concert.

You’ll also find:

  • A curated Vendor Market featuring local artists and makers

  • Chalk Art: Professional Chalk Artist Zach Herndon with GA Chalk Artist Guild will be designing chalk art live at the cemetery entrance with amateur squares for guests to join in on the fun!

Don’t forget to drop your People’s Choice Award ballot in the box when you arrive — winners are announced at 4:45pm.

Food Trucks & Local Eats

Come hungry — the festival at Sylvester Cemetery will feature some of Atlanta’s favorite local food vendors serving up crowd‑pleasing bites all afternoon. 

  • Just Loaf’n: New Orleans Original PoBoys

  • Coffyn Pyes: Worldly Pies, Handheld and Heartfelt

  • Merida: Authentic Mexican cuisine with bold flavors and traditional recipes.

  • Lil Rhody’s Frozen Lemonade: The Unique Thirst Quencher

Grab a plate, settle in for the music, and enjoy a perfect spring afternoon surrounded by neighbors and good food.

Event Tips & Essentials

  • Parking: Please avoid blocking driveways or mailboxes. Suggested parking is marked on the map.

  • Restrooms: Available at Sylvester Cemetery only.

  • Accessibility: Due to the nature of the Event, access for guests with limited mobility or using mobility devices like wheelchairs may be limited. Some gardens may include: gravel, natural stone, paver, or mulch pathways, narrow corridors, stairs, terraced areas or varying terrain. Sylvester Cemetery is reasonably accessible for mobility devices. We will indicate ADA accessibility on the map provided. 

  • Pet-Free Gardens: Service dogs welcome, to ensure safety of the service dog and handler, please check in upon arrival at each garden. All dogs (leashed) are welcome at the cemetery festival!

  • Smoke-Free Tour: No smoking in any garden.

  • Please drink responsibly. Don’t drive impaired plan to walk, bike, or use a rideshare.

  • Garden Etiquette: Stay on marked paths, respect the plants, and snap all the photos you want. Share your favorites with us at @pushingupdaisieseav — we love seeing your perspective!
