During 2016 EACA’s programming included, in part, contributing supplies for Village Beautification, supporting the Organic Gardening program at Burgess-Peterson Academy Elementary School, entertaining hundreds of children at our version of Halloween, EAV-o-ween, as well as offering something for the adults with the April Fools Pub Crawl and the Under the Harvest Moon Gala. In addition, through our Neighbor in Need program, we were able to perform 49 different home repair projects representing 18 of our senior households and totaling over $20,000.

In 2016 we also were able to support other wonderful organizations and causes to include the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market ($1500), Branan Towers ($1000), Neighbor in Need-East Lake, our sister organization, ($1000), Burgess-Peterson Academy RunFest ($500), East Atlanta Strut ($500), Alex Newton Vigil ($250) and Park Pride ($50).

Above and beyond the dollars, EACA spent countless hours advocating on behalf of East Atlanta on matters related to Economic Development, Education, Land Use & Zoning, Brownwood Park and Public Safety while bringing many young families together through our Parents Network.

All this and more could not be possible without you. From your dollars to your time, EACA is only successful through contributions of both. Please considering joining the association or making a financial contribution today. Donating to EACA is easy, tax deductible and means your dollars stay in your community to assist your neighbors.

Thank you,
