There is Still Time to Join EACA as a 2019 Member

January has come and gone and it's clear that 2019 isn't slowing down, but thankfully, neither are we. In fact, the EACA committees are revving back up and progress is continuing to be made. Let's take a look at just a few of our 2018 accomplishments:

  • Several large repairs and plantings within Brownwood Park & Community Garden

  • Neighbor in Need completed over 52 home improvement projects and raised over $25K at Viva Las Vegas

  • Sponsored BPA garden program

  • East Atlanta Parents Network has reinvigorated play groups and even sponsored the kids area at the Strut

  • Sponsorship of key East Atlanta events including Strut, EAV Runfest, NYEAV fireworks, and Monthly Branan Bingo

  • One of the largest EAV-O-Ween celebrations to date

  • Partnership with Strut and Councilmember Archibong to add new trashcans, work to remove graffiti, and beautification of the planter in the village

We are pretty proud of our accomplishments and you should be too! Your yearly $10 membership fee (per household) is just one of the ways EACA raises money to fund community service projects, neighborhood improvements, and fight for the policies its members find most important. The calendar year has just begun and we hope you will  join us as a member for 2019.
