The East Atlanta Community Association is sponsoring the completion of a draft National Register of Historic Places nomination for East Atlanta, and work on the draft this spring has been completed by Georgia State University graduate students.
On April 25th, this work was showcased for the first time at Argosy!

Join the Friends of East Atlanta Library and your Southeast Atlanta neighbors for afternoons with local authors! Our next event will be held on Saturday, February 9, from 3:30-5PM in the Fellowship Hall of Ormewood Church. Coffee and light snacks will be served.
The East Atlanta Strut will award 20 - $1000 grants this year. Do you know of an organization that could benefit or put these funds to good use? Complete the grant application process before January 31, 2019.
APS Pre-K Lottery Registration for the 2019-2020 school year is open through February 8, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. The lottery drawing will be held on February 21, 2019. Learn more about the lottery process and register for the lottery.

For the second year, East Atlanta has a menorah in addition to our Christmas tree. The menorah is located at the planter at the intersection of Flat Shoals and Glenwood, near the tree.
