The 2017 Root Ball will celebrate Trees Atlanta’s growth on the Westside including the current installation of the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum on the Westside Beltline Trail, expanded education programs focused on Westside schools, and restoration work in greenspaces located in the Westview and West End neighborhoods….AND East Atlanta is being recognized as a neighborhood champion.

On Friday, November 17th, ANCS 6th graders cleaned litter from Ripplewater Creek in Brownwood Park and learned about watersheds and environmental stewardship.
Our goal of taking back the urban forest from the grip of non-native, invasive weeds came one-day closer to reality on Saturday, November 11th, when 12 volunteers form Trees Atlanta and EACA neighbors gathered in the forested south-side of Brownwood Park.
