East Atlanta Security Patrol (EASP) is increasing patrols in East Atlanta for the summer months and would like to extend a special offer to new members. Join before May 24 and your membership will begin in time for extra patrols during the Memorial Day holiday. That’s over 1 month of free membership! EASP employs off-duty Zone Six police officers to perform additional patrols within the East Atlanta community. All patrol officers are armed, in uniform, with full arrest powers.
East Atlanta's original block party is back for 2019! Come meet your neighbors, bring some food for the potluck, and enjoy the unique culture of East Atlanta. May Ave neighbors will be providing a taco bar for your gustatory amazement. This program is supported in part by the Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs. The Maynard Jackson High School PTSA is collecting gently worn shoes in all sizes for a Shoe Drive where they will earn money per pound collected and shoes will be distributed to developing nations. Neighbor in Need is partnering with ASW Distillery for our first Whiskey Giveback event hosted on April 18th where a percentage of all alcohol and ASW product sales will be donated to Neighbor in Need East Atlanta! Get into the "spirit" of charity and sample some fine Atlanta whiskeys at ASW Distillery while supporting long-term, low-income neighbors in EAV.
